Help Liberia Foundation Community School will this month reopen its doors to students, teachers, and parents for the new school year, that is, the 2024/2025 school year.
Although the school was unable to officially close in July, it will officially open this month, September. The school was unable to have an official or formal closing program as we do every year because of the uncontrollably heavy down pour of rain on the day set for the closing program.
It rained and rained so heavily that parents, teachers, and community residents found it very difficult to leave their homes. Therefore, there could be no formal program, characterized by various activities and photo-taking.
We sincerely apologize to everyone for our inability to have posted anything earlier about not having a closing program for the 2023/2024 school year.
Also, plans are being put in place for there to be regular articles concerning happenings, events, and activities at the school, beginning this month.
Meanwhile, there will be a teachers’ workshop next week to carry out some rehearsal training for the teachers before the opening of school.
Profound thanks and appreciation to everyone for starting and ending the 2023/2024 school year with us. We look forward to a more fulfilling 2024/2025 school year.
