Six of Help Liberia Foundation Community School’s kids have been selected to participate in a computer training program.

The computer training program is organized by an organization known as Peal Draven Change (PDC). The training started on Monday, My 27, 2024, in Buchanan City.

It is a three-month computer program that will help give the children some computer education or training. The students so selected are Diamond Diggs, Mercy Zoegar, Prince Toe, Princess Flomo, Temah Zoegar, and Frankie Nyankoon.

They will attend the training from 3pm to 4pm daily. It is free of charge, but the organization has asked HLF School to, from time to time, help with the purchase of gas for the running of the generator being used for the training.

We are thankful to Peal Draven Change for selecting six of our children for this special computer training. We are also proud of our kids and the teachers making this happen, especially the Acting Principal, Mr. Morris Dahngbah.

We wish our students well as they go through this training process.

Few weeks ago, some kids of Help Liberia Foundation Community School visited the school’s plot of land located near Moe Town in Buchannan City.

The visit was made possible by the Acting Principal, Mr. Morris Gahngbah, who suggested that the kids go and see the land that will host their future school.

The one acre of land was bought in 2011, and it is meant for the construction of a modern school building for the kids, but the lack of funds has caused a delay in the construction.

Although the kids in our school are given the chance or opportunity to play and have fun while in school, we do focus on the main purpose for which they are in the school, that is, to help them learn and have a better future.

The following photos, except for one, show kids of HLF School in their learning mood, as the staffers are determined to help them grow academically so that they can have a future that is different from their current conditions.

Before our school could re-open in September, we painted both the interiors and the exteriors of the main building and the annex that Help Liberia Foundation is operating in, so as to give the school a facelift.

It is a normal exercise that we carry out every year before the resumption of classes, and we were pleased to have done that this year before our kids could return and sit in their various classes for the new academic year.
