HLF Conducts Teachers’ Workshop

In a bid to prepare teachers for the 2018/2019 academic year, Help Liberia Foundation Community School conducted a one-day refresher workshop for teachers on Saturday, September 8, 2018.

The workshop, which started at 8:30am and ended around 3:pm, brought together both old and new teachers of the school, as well as teachers of other schools, as radio announcements were made for other teachers to join the interactive workshop. There were (15) fifteen persons all together, including teachers and lecturers.

Four different areas were presented on, namely, Classroom Management, Lesson Planning, Testing and Evaluation, and The Teacher: His Professionalism and Language. The lecturers were Mr. Paul Yeenie Harry, who lectured on The Teacher: His Professionalism and Language; Mr. Jones Massaquoi, who lectured on Lesson Planning and Testing and Evaluation; and Mr. Charles Mendscole, who lectured on Classroom Management.
