Our school in Buchanan City, Help Liberia Foundation Community School, has reopened its doors for academic activities for the 2021/2022 school year.

On the day of the reopening, there were 62 (sixty-two) students in attendance. They were all excited to have once again had the opportunity to meet old friends, as well as teachers.
Some other children whose parents do not have money to register them in school now also came on campus, but they were hiding behind the school building and other nearby structures. It was sad.

It is our hope that the kids who are not yet in school because their parents don’t have money will eventually enter school through some assistance from somebody.
Our desire and goal is to help give education to as many poor children as possible, and we have been doing this for more than 15 years in Buchanan.

The Board of Directors, the students, the teachers, and the parents are grateful to all those who are helping us to operate the school every year. Special thanks go to Lena, Elizabeth, and Anneli, who are helping with some funds for teachers’ salary payment every month. They are some of the most committed heroes of the kids at the moment.
